The Hangleton & Knoll Project Testimonial

“The new website has been a game-changer for us. It’s so much easier for young people and families to find activities, events, and membership information. We’ve already seen a big increase in youth memberships and event participation, which simply wouldn’t have been possible with our old site. The team were brilliant throughout the process – supportive, patient, and always making sure the site worked for our community.”

The Brief

The Hangleton & Knoll Project (HKP) is a community charity doing incredible work, but their website was more than 20 years old. It wasn’t mobile-friendly, relied on inaccessible downloadable files, and was overwhelming to navigate. This made it difficult for people to find events, news, and membership information – essentially creating a barrier between the charity and the community it serves. HKP needed a modern, accessible website that reflected the breadth of their work and made it easier for people to engage.

The Strategy

We proposed a complete rebuild while retaining HKP’s established branding, refreshed into a sleeker and more modern style. Given the huge amount of data and content to migrate, we worked closely with the team in person and through regular check-ins to ensure everything was accurate and easy to use. The new website was designed to be mobile responsive, accessible, and simple to navigate, with features like membership forms, news, events, and activity listings presented clearly on the site.

The Results

The launch was a huge success. The new website has made it far easier for the community to find and engage with HKP’s services. There’s been a noticeable increase in event participation and youth memberships – helped by the mobile-friendly design. Accessibility and SEO improvements have also boosted visibility, supporting a steady growth in subscribers and activity sign-ups. HKP now has a digital presence that matches the scale and impact of their community work.
